How we raise our food
Raised with room to roam.
Our animals spend their time outdoors with shelter, care and feed suited to their needs. Here’s what that looks like on our Cottontown farm.

How we work
Room to roam. Care in every step.
Our chickens spend daylight hours outdoors before returning to secure movable housing at night. Our hogs have outdoor room to forage and a lean-to shelter from the weather.
We aim for practical, transparent food, not vague promises. That means saying what is raised here, what they are fed and where processing happens.

Your questions, answered
Our farm standards
What does pasture-raised mean here?
Our animals live outside in secured areas where they can move, explore and forage. They also receive supplemental feed appropriate to their needs.
What do the chickens eat?
Chickens raised for egg production are fed non-GMO, soy-free grain, plus kitchen scraps and vegetables from the garden. They forage outdoors during daylight hours.
Are antibiotics or hormones used?
No. We do not use antibiotics or hormones in raising our animals.
Is the meat frozen?
Yes. Chicken and pork are frozen at the processing facility and stay frozen until sale.
Where is the meat processed?
Chickens are processed at Underground Processing in Walling, Tennessee. Hogs are processed at Hampton Meats in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Meat is USDA inspected at processing.
How do pickup and delivery work?
Choose farm pickup in Cottontown or local delivery within 30 miles when ordering. Availability depends on the farm and processing schedule.
