Today, we had the tree removal service and the electricians out to fix a few things here on the farm. The electricians are installing power in the barn for lighting and tools. They are also installing a power supply for the RV which will be coming later. They had to trench a line from the house to the barn and then add the power box and lights.
The tree workers were removing four large trees surrounding the house that we felt were a possible hazard. Once they finished the removal and stump grinding, the property looked pretty good. Hopefully, with the trees gone, any ice or wind will not damage the house.
Every day is busy when building a homestead. Work is never done, and all you have to do is look around to see more chores that need to be completed.
