Today we got five of our new ducks. We got five Golden Three Hundred Hybrid ducklings. Golden Three Hundred Hybrid ducks are highly productive laying ducks bred specifically for egg production, often producing around 300 eggs per year under good conditions.
They are a commercial hybrid rather than a pure breed, meaning they are designed for performance rather than breeding true to type. Typically golden-brown in color with bright orange legs, they are hardy, calm, and well suited to both backyard keepers and small-scale farms. Their excellent feed efficiency and reliable laying ability make them a popular choice for anyone wanting a steady supply of duck eggs.
Later this week, we will be getting five White Peking ducklings along with several chicks. All of these birds should make wonderful additions to our farm.
